ILNP ‘Campground’ Fall 2024 Collection – Swatches & Review

ILNP just truly knows how much we all love fall, and so they recently dropped TWO new collections in the perfect fall color palettes. We have a set of 6 jelly holographic shades that we’ll be discussing later. And for this post, we’re looking at the ‘Campground’ collection.

This set features 4 cream shades, all inspired by, of course, the coziness of camping. We have 3 neutrals and a green, and I mean, what else would you expect from a Campground collection. ILNP describes this set as “bringing a sense of calm to your nails, evoking the tranquility of early autumn” and I think that’s the perfect description. These just feel classic, and they’re shades that create a good foundation for any collection, ones that you can reach for any time. Always good to have to balance out the bold vampy shades, and bright oranges and reds of fall.

These are available on the ILNP website. ILNP doesn’t do limited edition collections, keeping their shades around for quite a while, so you’ll be set to pick these up whenever you’re feeling that urge to slow down and set up that tent.

Let’s get on into the swatches!

ILNP ‘Wildflowers’ Collection – Swatches & Review

Why yes, this post is another post of SHAME. It’s about me once again neglecting a beautiful indie brand, and then finally crawling around to swatch the abundance of collections I have saved up from them, after they collected dust under my desk for far too long. And then after swatching, I’ll kick myself for not putting these gorgeous shades onto my nails sooner – it’s a cycle I’m working to break here.

So yes, let’s talk about ILNP. ILNP came onto my radar at the end of 2022, and I finally purchased their ‘Trapped’ Halloween collection. Since then, I’ve been enamored with each new release and as mentioned, I’ve collected quite a few collection that deserve their time on the blog.

We work to remedy that first with today’s post, all about the ‘Wildflowers’ collection. This one released in Spring 2024 (okay I’m not too far behind with this one), and as you might guess from the season and name, it has a very spring-like color palette. We have the typical 6 bottle release, and each shade is filled with so much sparkle and shine. It’s a little something different from your typical spring color palette, but I can still feel the warm sun oozing from each and every shade.

You can find these shades on the ILNP website. None of ILNP’s collections are limited edition, sticking around on their website for years after release so no rush – but I mean I’m sure you’ll want to grab at least a few after seeing these swatches. Let’s get on into it.

ILNP ‘Fright Night’ Halloween 2023 Collection – Swatches & Review

PURCHASED

Yes, I’m posting a Halloween collection on November 1st, but I make the rules and I say HALLOWEEN CONTINUES. We’re not stopping until every spooky shade has been given its time. And who am I to ever limit what colors you can wear by season – Halloween polishes are for any time of the year.

With that note in mind, I’ve already waited long enough to discuss these shades. Let’s dive in already.

This is the ILNP ‘Fright Night’ collection, and as you can guess by the color palette and name, we’re looking at yet another Halloween collection – thank you for blessing us indie brands, we are in your debt. This features 6 what I would personally call “classic” Halloween shades – they just feel like classic scary movies to me somehow – with the squishy blood reds, and bright navy blues, oranges and greens. There’s so much shimmer and sparkle here, it’s just adding that air of supernatural magic to them. Am I truly romanticizing nail polish? Yes, but that’s my favorite thing to do, and what else would you expect from a nail polish blog.

These 6 shades are available from the ILNP website – their collections always stick around for a while, so need to worry about this one disappearing before you’re ready. But let’s get on into the swatches already!

ILNP ‘Under the Sea’ Collection – Swatches & Review

PURCHASED

I’ve been slowly falling more and more with ILNP with their past few collections, and just what I DON’T need – they’ve become another brand on my auto-buy list. Their 6 piece collections have had such fun color stories, and have really been capturing each of the themes they choose. (And not me discovering all of their past collections are still available on their website, and just building an enormous cart).

And this next set is no different! This is the ‘Under the Sea’ collection from ILNP, and as soon as I saw these shades, I just needed the whole collection. (Yes of course I’m being dramatic, no one needs nail polish). As you can guess, we have the traditional 6 shade release, with shades all inspired by the sea, the water, and the magic that might be lurking underneath the surface. There are blues and greens, as well as some unexpected shades in red, purple and a perfect sandy shade.

These 6 shades all have a more jelly-like formula just filled with shimmers and glitters and flakies, all perfect for sitting by the shimmery water under the sun. They are available on the ILNP website – all of their collections stick around on their website, so it’ll be waiting for you whenever you’re looking to purchase.

Let’s get on into the swatches!

ILNP ‘Trapped’ Collection – Swatches & Review

Listen, this blog will always be mostly mainstream and drugstore nail polish reviews (and hopefully some more affordable makeup reviews again soon). The polishes are (somewhat) cheaper overall (though they do try to keep raising up in price), and also easier to buy discounted from supply websites (polishpick.com truly saves me). But I have been lucky enough, as I gain a little more of a polish budget each year, to slowly wade in and try out a few new-to-me indie brands. I do wish I had the time and money to review every single brand of polish, but at this point I still have to be selective. I just have to be patient and have self control and wait for the collection to truly catch my eye. (Not that every indie brand out there doesn’t release gorgeous collections all the time, but you get what I mean).

So this collection was one that truly captured my eye and pulled me in, and it was just the right time to purchase. ILNP had already been a brand that had been circling around the edge of my radar, from other Instagram friends posting previous shades and swatches, so it met all of my criteria and made the perfect jumping off point for my first full collection purchase.

This is the ILNP ‘Trapped’ collection. This was a Halloween release, and with that we have 6 vampy, shifty and sparkly shades, with a lot of dark bases and contrasting shimmers. (In my opinion, more brands need to release Halloween collections, thank you very much.)

I did originally swatch these up and post them on my Instagram in November (another shoutout to follow me there as you see swatches earlier most often), but you know, my whole 2023 goal of working to catch up and make sure every polish collection gets it’s matching blog post. This collection is still readily available on the ILNP website and not going anywhere soon, so you can also still get your little hands on them whenever you end up reading this post.

ILNP ‘NYE’ 2022 Collection – Swatches & Review

2022, especially in the later months, was a time where I was lucky enough to be able to expand out my roster of brands and dip my toes into more indie brands. One of those brands was ILNP. They fully grabbed me with their Halloween release, Trapped. After that, I had my eye on them. I did end up skipping on their Winter Wonderland release (though as I’m looking at it again, it IS gorgeous…). Now I won’t be reviewing every single indie brand (I wish I had the budget and time for that), and I’ll still be here for mostly mainstream and drugstore brands, but listen, we love to add some unique little indie polishes into the mix every so often. And ILNP has truly been releasing some beautiful shades.

For this newest review, we’re looking at the ‘NYE’ collection. This comes after their winter release, so it’s truly more of full New Years Eve release and look and theming. So with that it features 6 super sparkly and flashy shades perfect for watching the ball drop (hey that’s even a shade name!). We have 5 full color polishes and then one iridescent topper, and all of your glitter needs will be covered with this one, whether it’s for a celebration or when you’re reading this review in the middle of January.

These lovely shades are available on the ILNP website. Now I’ll let the sparkle speak for itself, let’s get on into the swatches!
