Sinful Colors ‘Quick Bliss’ Shades – Swatches & Review

Another edition of swatching through a collection I had for too long and never reviewed! This time it’s the Sinful Colors Quick Bliss polishes. These released in early 2020, and I did pick them up later in the year and just hadn’t swatched them. These are a more permanent release, and you can still find them where Sinful Colors are sold – in Walmart, Target, and other drugstores.

From the Sinful Colors website they describe these as “Get going in a minute with SinfulColors® Quick Bliss collection of six fast-dry nail polishes spiked with sweet Cherry Oil. Enjoy highly seductive juicy colors with shimmer and shine that deliver full coverage and protection in one coat.” So it’s a quicker drying polish with Cherry oil supposed to hydrate the nails. I’m not sure how much quick drying I noticed, but overall they were easy formulas to work with!

There are 9 shades total, and I have 8 here to talk about. The last shade was out of stock at the time I ordered and I just never picked it up. It’s a warmer-toned pink called ‘Juicy’. But we’ll look at the other 8 today! These retail for $2.98 each, and as always with any Sinful Colors polish, is super affordable. Let’s get into the swatches!

Up first we have ‘Flushed’. This is a deep, burgundy red base with tons of golden shimmer to it. I consider this one of their foil finishes, since it’s almost two toned with the shimmer. It had a sheer but smooth 1st coat. The color deepens up to match the bottle with the 2nd, and it’s pretty well opaque in just 2. I did add a 3rd to cover any last patches I had from the ridges in my nails.

I absolutely love that golden shimmer, and it’s just so dimensional all around.

The one more sheer, jelly finish shade is ‘Sweet Cheeks’. This is a pink-toned squishy red shade. This was 3 coats, and as you can see there is still a touch of visible nail line. It’ll depend on your preferences whether you’ll like this, but the color is smooth overall on the nails.

The last of the 3 reds is ‘Cherry Chaser’. This is a bright tomato red, with some orange tones to it. This was an easy 2 coat formula, and so smooth to paint onto the nails. Perfect if you’re looking for a classic warm red to add to your collection.

Up next, I described this color as the perfect Kraft Mac n Cheese cheese dust orange. Like the packet of cheese that you stir in, come on everyone’s gotta know this one 😂 ANYWAYS, this is ‘Hit the Spot’, and it’s a super bright, yellow-toned orange cream. It had a streaky 1st coat, and was more uneven than the other creams in this collection. It was still a touch uneven on the 2nd, so I did a 3rd to fully smooth it out and make it fully opaque.

‘Black Cherry’ is a super deep, blackened cherry shade with brighter orange-gold shimmer scattered throughout. It did have an uneven 1st coat, which can happen sometimes with deeper shades like this. But a 2nd coat deepened up the color and made it fully opaque. Love a good vampy shade!

The last of the creams I have is ‘Climaxxx’, which is your typical bubblegum pink. It was still streaky and my ridges were showing through still after 2 coats. I ended up doing a 3rd to fully cover. Not my favorite formula for a more common color, and I know I have similar pinks with better ones.

Last up we have the two textured shades. First up is ‘Ice Ice Cherry’, a lighter, almost pearly base with bright golden-red shimmer all throughout. It’s one where different lightings will pull different colors and looks out of this! In my brighter lights, the shimmer all throughout looks more gold, while in normal daylight the shimmer can pull more pink.

This is 3 coats built up so it is more sheer, and definitely a more interesting look. I know not everyone will love this, so as always it’ll depend on your own preferences! This could be fun to add on top of a base to add some shimmer and texture.

And lastly, we have ‘Bite’. This is a bright sour apple green base with a bright, almost blue shimmer to it. Again 3 coats built up and it’ll be a more sheer finish. But in normal lighting, the glitter does cover more of the nail line.

It’s such a weird polish, and listen I love it because it’s so weird. Gimme all of the weird finishes.

And that’s the release! I do love the mix of creams, as well as a few interesting finishes thrown in. There are some great core colors that can be added to any collections, as well as some weird ones for a unique add. Overall, I enjoyed. What do you think?
