Soap & Glory Small Haul

Hello friends, I have a small little haul for you! I’m trying to make sure I’m posting everything that I’m buying so you can see what I’m trying out and what reviews will be coming your way. And you can say what reviews you want to see sooner than others!

So in my neck of the woods (I live in Chicago now, but grew up in Michigan), winters can be pretty brutal. I’m actually working from home today because of a grand ol’ snowstorm. It’s been dumping on us the past week, I think, to make up for the snow we haven’t had up until then.

But this means it’s been very cold, and specially with the wind in the windy city, my skin gets dry and flaky. So I was looking for some refuge to save me from becoming a crocodile.

I’ve heard good things about Soap & Glory, especially their body products, and wanted to try a couple to really help moisturize. So I went on down to Ulta (I had to pick up my birthday gift anyways) and found some. It was buy 2, get 1 free on the brand so I picked up 3 products.

So let’s get into the products!

First off, I have to say I really love the packaging and whole style of the brand. They have amazing names that are plays on words, and I love their pink branding. As a design nerd, I love the whole aesthetic. They pull it off really well, and all of the products are super fun.

First up, is the ‘Peaches & Clean Deep Cleansing Milk’. I shower at night, and take off my makeup there, so I was looking for a cleansing melt that would help take my makeup off better in the shower. This retails for $12.

(All of these prices are Ulta prices, which have been known to be a little bit higher. You can find Soap & Glory at Walgreens and Target as well. Like DAMN looking at Target’s website now, you can pick this up for $8.80, normally $11. Ulta, I love you for the points and range of brands, but come on, that’s ridic.)

ANYWAYS. Next up was the main product I wanted to pick up. I’ve heard so many great things about their body scrubs, and my legs were so dry and flaky they needed help. So I picked up the ‘Flake Away Body Polish’. It retails for $15. (Or $11.20 at Target). It’s a more creamy scrub, with lots of exfoliating particles.

Lastly, I got the ‘Heel Genius’ Foot Cream. I’m always looking for a good cream to make my feeties smooth and touchable. This is a green-toned thick cream. This retails for $10 ($7.20 on Target).

I’ve been trying out these products for a little while, and can’t wait to put a full review for you guys! With the way the weather is going, it seems I’ll be able to use them for a while longer, so you know, that’s great.

Look out for the posts coming soon.
