Essie ‘Keep You Posted’ Collection – Swatches & Review

Essie is continuing on with releasing 19 collections a year, and I’m doing my best to keep them all straight for you! I saw some random posts about these after people had been finding them at Target, and just loved the shades, so I grabbed them with a Target gift card!

This is the ‘Keep You Posted’ collection, with a cute little travel theme. It’s a Target exclusive release, though Essie said it’s coming to the EU at some point as well (which makes sense, since they’re all European themed nails). They also have little postage stamp designs on the caps. Essie hasn’t posted too much about them, but they’re available at Targets now in more permanent displays, as well as online for anywhere from $9-$10 each.

So let’s get right into the swatches!

Up first we have ‘Happy as Cannes Be’. It’s an off white shade, with just a touch of warm yellow tones to it. This had a great first coat for a white shade – I was definitely expecting streakier. It’s pretty well good in 2 coats and is a super smooth formula! I did a 3rd coat here just to cover any last ridges I had peeking through, but most will be good with just 2 coats.

‘Been There London That’ is a lovely raspberry pinky-red cream shade. This had an incredibly smooth formula and paints on so easily onto the nails. Just 2 coats and so nice!

‘Madrid It for the ‘Gram’ is a bright saturated orange cream, with some pinky coral undertones to it. This was another super smooth and easy 2 coats! No complaints here.

‘Rome Around’ is a bright aqua blue cream shade, with some green undertones to it. I had some patches and a little bit of nail line peeking through after the 1st coat, but a 2nd coat easily covered and smoothed it out. A lovely shade, and I’ll definitely be wearing it in the summer!

‘No Place Like Stockholm’ is a super light purple toned gray cream shade. Again, another incredible formula, practically one coat and almost paints itself on. Super lovely formula!

Last up have ‘Berlin the Club’. This is a deep, saturated warm-toned purple cream shade. Again, another beautiful formula, opaque in just 1 coat! So smooth and I enjoyed it so much!

And that’s the collection! This was a beautiful set of creams, and everything was opaque in 1-2 coats. All of the shades were super smooth and just glided onto my nails and I enjoyed them a lot. They may not be the most exciting colors or finishes, but if one catches your eye, it would be great to add to a collection. Look out for them at a Target near you!
