Glam Polish is always up to something, and releasing some new shades, and this month is no different! But this time all I have is a cute little trio to show you! Easy enough to digest, huh. (Well, okay, they did also release an 8 piece collection at the same time inspired by Daisy Jones & The Six, so there’s that too. But we’re only talking about the trio, there’s only 3 polishes here.)
This is the ‘Songbird’ trio, and each shade is named after a different very famous and popular song by the well known American band Fleetwood Mac. Each of the 3 shades is a crelly base just jam packed with various metallic flakes for a gorgeous shifty and unique look.
Of course, these are available on the Glam Polish website for purchase now! Now, there’s only 3 polishes to talk about this time, and I don’t want to spend more time on the intro than the actual post, so let’s just get on into the swatches already!
***
Diving right in, this first one is ‘Rhiannon’ (well duh I had to match the songs in the live swatches) and this one is a deep plum purple jelly base – yes I swear it’s a purple base under there – all packed with scattered holographic shimmer as well as larger red iridescent flakes. It feels vampy, it feels edgy, it feels perfect for laying on the floor listening to Fleetwood Mac songs. Perfect all around.
The first coat of this is more sheer and uneven – being a tinted jelly base. But the 2nd easily builds up that color and evens it out and makes it fully opaque, as well as layering up those flakes and sparkle. It’s a thicker polish than say a normal cream, which just makes it easy to control as you paint it on and helps to create that base. It dries a touch satin, so a good coat of top coat will really bring out the sparkle.

Next up we have ‘Dreams’. This one is much like the deep blue version of the shade above. It’s a deep blue jelly base also filled with scattered holographic shimmer, as well as, you guessed it, bright iridescent blue flakes all throughout.
We have the same formula as the shade above, so it’s a touch sheer and uneven on that 1st coat, with a 2nd coat easily covering and building it up to fully opaque. Depending on your own preferences for all of these, you might want a 3rd to deepen up the base even more, but it felt fully opaque to me with just 2.

Last up, we have ‘Landslide’. Again a similar setup with this one here just in a much different color combination. This one is an off-white, putty gray crelly base with multicolored, multichrome metallic flakes all throughout. It feels a little boho to me, (maybe it reminds me of feathers?) and I weirdly love it. I’ll take any off-white crelly mix that Glam comes up with.
Since this is a lighter colored crelly base, it was a touch more sheer and uneven on the 1st coat than the other 2. It builds up well with a 2nd coat, though I did end up adding a 3rd to build the base up even more. As I always say, it’ll depend on your own application and preferences here! But Glam’s formula always dries quickly, so those 3 coats go by easily.

And those are the 3 shades in this cute little trio! I think they all work together well, and they all feel a little vampy and boho (come on, you have to feel that vibe from these shades too). I can most definitely see myself wearing these while belting out Landslide. They’re cute, and they’re easy to paint on, and they’re inspired by an iconic musical ac, so what more could you want.

I review these shades thoroughly and in the same manner as I would with any polishes purchased with my own money.
