Orosa Beauty Winter 2019 Shades

PR SAMPLE

Now that it’s December (where has the time gone???) I basically go from 0-100 with Christmas loving. I go from hating all mention of Christmas before Thanksgiving, then to immediately decorating my apartment and getting everything festive. I battled with decorations (and knocking over 3 plant pots in the process) and got my apartment all cozy and decorated up today! Have you started decorating for Christmas?

And so with that mindset it’s only appropriate that we talk about new winter shades from Orosa Beauty!

I recently won a giveaway of their fall collection, and ended up loving the cream shades in that one. And then I was so pleasantly surprised when this box of new shades showed up on my doorstep as well! I wasn’t expecting it at all, and was so grateful that they decided to send them over to me! But of course, even with products that are sent to me, I’ll always post my honest opinion! Wanted to be thankful but also up front!

These are 3 new releases for Winter from Orosa Beauty! They’re a new polish brand that started this year, and I’ve been loving their shades. There’s just something about that square bottle that gets me, and I just want to hold them and look at them. Have you ever had that.

They released 3 shades, 2 creams and 1 topper for their winter collection. These retail for $12 each on the Orosa Beauty website or for $31 for the set of 3!

Let’s look at the swatches!

Up first we have a nude. This is ‘Dusk’ and she’s a more rosy neutral cream shade. This had a squishy more crelly like feel to it. It had some unevenness and nail line after 1 coat, so it will need another. I feel like most people can get this fully opaque with an easy 2nd coat, but to cover up my super ridgey nails, I did use a 3rd.

It’s a perfect neutral and palate cleanser, in between all of the sparkle and glitter I’ll be wearing this upcoming holiday season!

Next we have ‘Onyx’, a jet black cream. I’m always looking to try out new black shades, and I’ll always use them underneath toppers, so I was so excited to try this one.

This was smooth and so easy to control on the nails. I could pretty well get it opaque with 1 thicker coat, though you might end up needing 2 if you have longer nails or use thinner coats. It’s no one coat black, but it was a solid formula that I’ll definitely continue to use! Easy 2 coats that dry fast and will be perfect under toppers.

Onyx

The last of the 3 new shades is definitely my favorite of the bunch. This is ‘Prism’ and it’s a clear base with a ton of holographic hexagon glitter pieces. They pick up easily and place easily to add bling and sparkle to any nail shade.

Here it is over ‘Dusk’. You can definitely build it up for an even more blinged out look, or wipe off the brush to make the glitters more sparse. Either way, it’s a very easy topper to use and so fun!

It’s especially my favorite over ‘Onyx’ because the sparkle and metallic really pops. Just look how stunning that is! I know I’ll be continuing to wear this and love it!

Prism-Onyx

If you only grab one of these 3 shades, make it ‘Prism’.

And those are the 3 new winter releases from Orosa beauty! I’m so thankful that I get to continue to try more of these polishes, and I’m definitely excited for their future releases. All of these shades were solid formulas, and the 2 creams are great additions for anyone to have in a collection. ‘Prism’ is a unique and fun topper, especially for the holidays coming up!
