Zoya ‘Daydreaming’ Spring 2023 Collection – Swatches & Review

We have our next Spring collection review here, and this set will most likely be the one that’ll have you looking at the color palette and going “spring?”

That’s right, this is the ‘Daydreaming’ set, and it’s Zoya’s release for Spring. It features 6 shades all with a more sheer jelly base and gorgeous multicolor speckled shimmer. We’ve got a deeper blue, some purples, a ruby red and some coppers here, breaking us out of the normal pastels and soft candy shades we normally see for the season. Now, I’m never here to let “out of season” stop me from wearing any color I’m feeling, but of course I understand if these aren’t quite giving you the spring feelings. NO MATTER WHAT, we’re reviewing these shades today and you can’t stop me!!

I purchased these in a little bundle off of Zoya’s website, which came with their wide brushes as well. (It’s Zoya’s annual Earth month sale going on now, so you can grab these for 50% off through April 30, even without donating any old polish). These are also available on the Beyond Polish website for quite a lovely discount as well – and I added my little affiliate code down at the bottom of this post if you were interested.

Alright let’s just get right into these swatches!

Zoya ‘Hypnotic’ & ‘Y2K’ Trios for Winter 2022 – Swatches & Review

We’re continuing right along with the blog post catch up, and reviews of the mainstream Winter polish releases! So let’s look at Zoya! (That’s right, that’s all I’ve got for an intro, we don’t need the rambling here. Maybe it’s because I feel productivity running through my veins).

In lieu of the traditional 6 piece collection for the winter season, Zoya released 2 trios. The two trios feature ‘Hypnotic’ which features 3 deeper, vampy jewel-toned shimmers, for when you just want to be seductive and mysterious in these snowy days. And then there’s ‘Y2K’, which features 3 jelly, sparkly polishes in brighter 2000s colors, when you just need some fun and sparkle throughout all the gray. (Why does it remind me of that scene from Parks & Rec with Andy & April “someone will die” “of fun!” Pls tell me you know that reference and what I mean). Overall, super interesting to go for 2 trios instead of one full cohesive collection, and it gives you choices for 2 distinct nail moods to choose from.

I grabbed both of these trios from the Zoya website during their amazing Black Friday sale – both trios, the Hypnotic, and the Y2K trios are still available to purchase there (and they’ll probably eventually make their way to the Beyond Polish website if you want to wait for even more of a discount).

So enough talking, let’s dive right into the swatches!

Zoya ‘Hello Summer’ Collection 2022 – Swatches & Review

She’s getting there! She’s slowly catching up on the posts! I swear it’ll happen and I’ll be back on consistently posting again!! Just you wait!! It’s coming!

For today, let’s look at a new Zoya release, shall we?

This is the ‘Hello Summer’ release, and it features 6 previously released popular shades bundled up. On release Zoya also said “Infused with more color saturation and streak-less, full coverage application for the perfect summer kickoff!” – so I was also assuming they came with a new formulation at the release as well. Otherwise they haven’t fully said, but from that I’m still assuming they’re newer formulas.

They also just released another curated palette of previously popular shades called the ‘Summer Vibes’ bundle – those are more shimmery jewel-toned shades. So that means we have no actual new shades for their summer release – but of course if these are shades you’ve felt like you’ve missed out on previously or are new to Zoya it’s a good option, or a nice place to start with.

These are now available on the Zoya website individually! Let’s dive on into the swatches.

Zoya ‘Naturel 5’ Collection – Swatches & Review

Heyoooooo we have some neutrals to look at! And some CREAMS. Now, if you haven’t picked up on this before, lemme tell you: I love a good cream shade. Sure, fun complex finishes are fun at times, but nothing has my heart like a good cream formula. And our pal Zoya here has a reputation for having a delightful cream formula, so when they release a set of creams, I’m IN.

This is the Naturel 5 collection from Zoya. Their Naturel collections are often a release of more neutral/nude shades, described as “transitional”, and as you probably picked up there have been 4 others before this, and this is #5. We all got there together. Anyways, I picked this up from the Zoya website in a little bundle which included their Hot Lips (their lip gloss formula) as well as wide brushes for all of the shades. Unfortunately this bundle isn’t available anymore, but the shades are all available individually for $12.

In this set of 5 polishes, we have some light beiges, some medium browns, and a deeper purple shade, so a fun little set of shades. Let’s get on into the swatches!

Zoya ‘Dazzle’ Winter 2021 Collection – Swatches & Review

We’re rounding out the last of the Winter 2021 collections, right before we dive deep into Spring collections! Crazy to think about, but it’s the TIME (after this post).

Anyways, today we’re looking at the final winter collection I have to swatch up! This is the ‘Dazzle’ collection for Zoya for Winter 2021. I grabbed this up in a bundle, with the 5 polish shades, as well as a Hot Lips – Zoya’s brand of lipgloss, and 5 wide brushes (really any bundle with wide brushes I snatch up, Zoya please make them the default already). This bundle is still available on the Zoya website now, and does save you a little bit of money if you’re looking to add on the wide brushes. Otherwise, each shade is available individually for $12.

This collection is 5 shades with a jelly base with tons of glitter and sparkle within. Most of the bases are opaque in 2-3 coats with one being more of a sheer look.

Let’s get on into these shades already!

Zoya ‘Nostalgic’ Fall 2021 Collection – Swatches & Review

Alright, I believe this is the last of the fall collections I’m going over for the year! A strange thought really as the weather has JUST now cooled down, and it truly feels like fall NOW. But that’s now how it works in the polish world, okay, we gotta keep going, it’s almost HOLIDAY COLLECTION time.

So let’s look at this last fall review ALRIGHT.

This is the Fall 2021 release from our pal, Zoya. It features 6 cream shades – the Zoya cream formula is usually amazing, so I’m always excited for an all cream release from them. It may seem boring to you, but they’re a great option to build up a collection, and a stash of lovely, wearable colors. And I just love all polishes okay. This is the ‘Nostalgic’ collection, and features some lovely dusty, and almost muted shades, perfect for the cooler temperatures.

I grabbed these from the Zoya website as always, where you can grab them as a set or as individual shades. I do also recommend watching Zoya’s social medias around a new collection release, as they’ll often bundle them with other products as well for a discounted price! In fact, for this collection, you can still grab the Nostalgic Bundle, which features the 6 polishes along with 6 wide brushes and the Defend & Shine kit. (I already had those items so didn’t want doubles, and went ahead and just ordered the 6 polishes on their own).

So let’s get on into the swatches!

Zoya ‘Dreamin’ Summer 2021 Collection – Swatches & Review

We’re continuing right along with the blog backlog! These collections have been up on my Instagram for a while, but of course I wanted to get the corresponding blog posts up as well! I still like to get these up even if it’s been a while so there’s a later reference to come back! These aren’t limited edition shades, so anytime you might want to look them up and grab them, you’ll have this to look at. And it can be hard to scroll through posts on Instagram to find specific shades, so that’s where the blog posts come in. Alright enough rambling about why, let’s just get into the post!

Zoya recently released their Easy Neons collection, but it wasn’t their full summer release, so we got another 6 piece collection for that! This is the ‘Dreamin’ collection, and it features 6 shades for Summer 2021. It has a range of more corals, pinks, purples and blues. As always I did grab this off of the Zoya website in a nice little bundle deal that included the wide brushes. (Side note: can Zoya make these normal, or an option to have them automatically included? I have so many skinny brushes just saved up from switching over that I just don’t know what to do with. ANYONE ELSE? Okay I’m done with that.)

Let’s get into the swatches!

Zoya ‘Easy Neons’ 2021 Collection – Swatches & Review

This is a long post full of a lot of thoughts, so I won’t ramble at the beginning!

Today we’re looking at the newest release from Zoya. They’re called the ‘Easy Neons’ and as you can probably guess, it’s 6 shades of neon polishes. In 2016 Zoya released a collection called the Ultra Brites, which was their version of a neon release. I wasn’t fully into polish at that point, so I didn’t have them myself – but based on other blogs and reviews of them, they were streaky and required a white base to even really show up. Not great. So when Zoya released these, they promised a new and improved neon formula, basically a step up from the Ultra Brites. They also automatically come with their wide brushes to make application even easier and smoother. Normally you have to buy the wide brushes separately and switch them out – I really wish there was an option to not have to do this, I have boxes of their old skinny brushes that I feel weird just throwing away. ANYWAYS.

They had a pre-order deal where they were a touch discounted, and also included more of their remover, so I went ahead and purchased. I was also so intrigued myself to try out this neon formula and see what I thought. It retails on the Zoya website for $66 for the whole set or each polish is $11. They are $1 more than their normal polishes, I’m assuming because of the pigments needed.

And do I have a lot of thoughts here. Buckle in, let’s discuss, I go over it ALL.

Zoya ‘Darling’ Spring 2021 Collection – Swatches & Review

HAPPY DAYLIGHT SAVINGS, EVERYONE. We’ve all lost an hour of our lives, how we all doing here. I’m truly feeling it as I’m trying to be productive, and it’s already 1pm. Although I could say that happens on any other Sunday so maybe I’m just looking for a scapegoat here. ANYWAYS, all that matters is that I’m being productive and getting you blog posts, right? Alright enough rambling, let’s get into it.

You thought I was done with the spring collections, right? Well that’s obviously WRONG, we’ve still got more to look at! Today we’re looking at one of the final releases I have, and that’s Zoya’s offering for Spring 2021. This is the ‘Darling’ collection and features 6 cream shades. I grabbed this collection on the Zoya website when they were running a promo where I got 6 wide brushes, as well as 2 additional polish shades with the box set. It also came in one of their fancy white boxes so I got to pretend I received this in PR for a little bit, and that was nice. The collection retails for $60, or $10 each for individual polishes.

Let’s get right into the swatches!

Zoya ‘Intriguing’ Winter 2020 Collection – Swatches & Review

We’re almost all caught up on my blog post backlog, and I’m so happy to be back to blogging! I did miss it, and that’s it, that’s all I have for an intro. This is short for me, this is a new record. Yes, I’m currently padding it even more by saying how short it is, what about it.

ANYWAYS, Y’all know the drill! We have a new Zoya release to look at for Winter 2020. This is the ‘Intriguing’ collection, and it features 12 shades as usual. We have some creams, some shimmers, and then one textured shade!

I grabbed these during a 50% off sale on Zoya’s website. I always wait for a sale – Zoya’s collections are never limited edition, and the polishes will still be available on the website even after the collections are no longer featured – so if you see any shades that catch your eye, you don’t have to worry about rushing to buy it immediately. Otherwise, they normally retail for $10 each.

We have lots of polishes to look at, so let’s get into the swatches!
